This morning.
I love walking the length of Crissy Field in the Marina every morning with our dog. Just the pure happiness in the dog's walk and her smile is worth the detour...never mind the views. This morning I came across this washed up wooden cross. It must have a story that means something to someone. I sat quietly with it for a while and let the waves decide whether to take the cross higher up shore or return it back to the sea before I continued on my journey.

An absolute treasure of a gift...
After days of unpacking duffle bags of holiday travel and getting the kids situated back in school, I walked into my home studio to come across this AMAZING gift from my dear friend Heather. ...The most beautiful stamps from around the world all put together in this silver little parcel left on my studio desk...someone knows me through n through :-)...thank you sweet Heather! These will make it into my landscape collages soon...

A very dear friend and inspiration.
Even though this photo is blurry, I love it.
It wraps up the gratitude and respect I have always had for this amazing woman Elizabeth Eisenhauer who has shown my work for almost 15 years on both Block Island and Martha's Vineyard. She lives a beautiful life with her amazing love, Paul, between two Islands - one where she works very hard all for three seasons supporting her artists and selling amazing paintings to brighten her clients homes and then retreats to the Abacos in the winter to catch her breath and spend quality time with those she loves. I have always looked up to her, her approach to life, love, and her passion for her work.
Elizabeth, I love you dearly and thank you for all the years believing in me, my work and for being my continuous inspiration in all ways.
Hopetown Lighthouse, Elbow Cay.
This lighthouse is one of the two in the world that still is lit by kerosene. The town is absolutely charming with little alleyways and colourfuly painted houses that surround a small bay. New Years was spent sitting on a dock with friends watching the fireworks by this beautiful lighthouse. A perfect way to ring in the New Year.
