This landscape was one that was hanging in my house for years and it just recently sold to a client on the East Coast. It is sad to let it go, but it's time it found a new home on my cherished -and missed "East Coast" and is loved by someone who will have it for years to come!

Up River 30 X 36 - The painting process
I am working on a river...grasses...red poppies peeking through - as it's getting closer to spring. I can feel it. I look all around and see the blossoms starting to come out...I will add a little more detail when back in the studio....I like the looseness though, the abstraction.

Circle S Ranch canvas - painting process
I have been knee deep in a wonderful commission I am working on for a family in Mill Valley. I am working from a photograph, but creating my own interpretation of the place. It is a place that clearly means a lot to the family and the view I look at to interpret daily - is outstanding.

I am slowly working on a series of works for the summer show at the Harrison Gallery in Williamstown, MA...it is a show celebrating 10 years...I have been with the gallery for a decade and so we are trying to pull together a series of works for the exhibition. The gallery director was hoping to see works that bring up the past ten years....my barns, rows of trees, my pathways...it's going to be a fun journey.
