Wat Visoun (Temple Visoun), Laos

There are about 30 temples, called Wats, here in Luang Prabang which is a town of about 50,000. One of the most beautiful - almost colonial feeling- towns I have ever seen in Asia. The architecture, the temples, the people...the whole feeling of the place...tree lined streets, wood frame houses, flowering trees everywhere and unbelievably clean. Everywhere I turn, I see the beautiful flashes of the orange robes of the monks walking alone or in groups and sometimes with matching umbrellas...
