A commission in the works....
Very mediocre photos here...but I have been working on this commission for many many - and many more hours and loving the process of it. The clients had seen a painting of mine they were very drawn to - but it had sold. I am working on this piece based on that landscape and for a very specific place in their home. It is getting close...many more hours for the grasses and the sea and of course some writing in between the blades...I will post the finished piece when completed...

Holding onto Summer....
I went canoeing this past weekend down the Russian River with friends and here is such a taste of summer...my son, Finn here in the photo - just letting go of a rope swing above the river.
