Cape Cod Life Magazine ....

I am so grateful to Cape Cod Life Magazine for the article on my seascapes this 2016 Art Issue! Thank you @amanda_wastrom for the great interview and for really capturing so much of what we spoke about together regarding my studio life and connection to the Atlantic ocean. Feels so good to be painting back on the Cape this summer and sending works to my New England galleries...

From San Francisco to the Cape...

My last beach walk treasures in San Francisco before packing up and moving to the Cape for the summer ... it was a perfect chilly sunny morning and I just had a "feeling" that there were going to be many great finds...my intuition was correct -- the deep turquoise blue glass was my favorite unique one to add to my large collection of sea glass...

Watercolor L O V E.

This is just one of the many sets of watercolors I own...

I get asked all the time what brand I use...well, Schminke above is definitely my coveted one (a gift), but I also use my Windsor Newton travel size set and many many generic sets that one can pick up in any art store...I truly think they are all lovely.

June. The start of summer...

June. Let the summer begin. Flowers in bloom. School lets out soon. Everyone craves the outdoors and is aware of all the blossoms. Color. Life. Joy. Thinking ahead to hot sand, surf, salty waters, travel, exploration, simplicity and finally letting the kids live without schedules and watching them just BE.

Small seascapes in my Studio here in San Francisco...

Block Island & Cape Cod...

I just returned from a soul filling trip back to the Cape and Block Island...two of my favorite places and I am so so fortunate to have a cottage back there - which I love dearly.

Block Island has the most beautiful stones,...I have carried so many with me over the years and brought a few back to the Cape cottage...I use them as door stops and simply as decoration all over my tables and windowsills...

Only 15 more days until I return for the summer.

In the Brooks Bulletin this month...

I was so honored to be interviewed by Brooks School for their arts issue...looking forward to my exhibition there next Spring at the Lehman Gallery!
