It's been days now that I have been working on this one piece...getting the background colours just so...one of my most challenging pieces to date...that is why I'm only showing the hardworking paintbrushes who are patiently letting me wash them over and over to get the right feeling to the work...the landscape will be posted soon.

I am loving the bright colours in the studio right now...I'm a bit of a sardine in there due to my intimate space, but I'm enjoying having all these pieces around for a little while before they disappear into the galleries.

The photos above are professional pictures taken of the living room of a home in Mill Valley (which the designer, Tineke Triggs of Artistic Designs for Living, designed for her clients. The painting above the mantel was a commission of a particular view the clients loved from their land in Northern California.
