Chase Edwards Gallery...Bridgehampton, NY
Long Island....
I am really excited to have just crated and shipped a large collection of work to the Hamptons...hopefully to arrive in the next week! I have a soft spot for that area of the world and some of my oldest and dearest friends live out there. I have taken many long walks on those remarkable beaches and collected more sea treasures that cover my desks, drawers, windowsills... To have the opportunity to exhibit my landscapes on that stretch of Long Island is really heart warming to me.
I believe the gallery doors are opening April 1 (the website is still coming together) and that my crated work will be there that week (fingers crossed)...so please stop by and say hello to Bonnie, the owner who is so gracious, fun and incredibly supportive of her artists and her love of the arts in general. It is an honor to show with her and I can't wait to stop by myself!

Sunrise Walk along the Bay...
I had the opportunity to watch the sun rise on Crissy Field the other day which was one of the biggest gifts I could have asked for. The cold sand on my feet, big sweater, a very happy dog by my side, and the light waking up the city and reflecting on the Bridge.

Landscape painted on found wood at the beach.
I was taking a really nice walk with a friend the other day in Sausalito along the water. We were admiring all the boats and suddenly I came across this weathered piece of wood which had washed ashore...it seems as though it might have been part of boat, but either way, I knew I had to paint on it.
