Daisies...
My
favorite flowers painted this evening ...white daisies. I love them
because they are wild flowers. White. Simple. A hint of a beautiful
yellow. I used to make crowns of them in my hair as a child during my
summers on Block Island. I would pick them and put them all over our
home with blackberry branches...
"Tucked In" in her new home...
"Tucked
Away" just was hung in my clients' home in Santa Barbara and they
sweetly sent me this photo! It looks so great there! Thank you Macy!!!

A Landscape and a Heart for SF...
Clients of mine just sent me this wonderful photo of two of my pieces coupled together in their new home. The heart was painted to auction off and donate to raise money for SF General Hospital...a tradition yearly in San Francisco. It was the first time I had painted in three dimensions...but very fun.
Hanging in Chicago...
Sweet clients of mine just sent me this photo of my landscape hanging in their home in Chicago!
It looks so happy to be there! This painting is called "Unexplored Places".
Calligraphy workshop with Diva Pyari of Linea Carta
What a beautiful way to spend my Sunday in a four hour intensive calligraphy workshop run by the amazing Diva Pyari of Linea Carta...creative, fun, beautiful, peaceful and so inspiring.
"Inslet" 34 X 36" (sold)
This landscape I painted always brings me to a quiet place...looking
beyond the grasses to the blue horizon line in the distance shouldered
by dunes. I always imagined swimming in that inslet after a long day on
the beach....

Loving clementines and all things orange....
I love my Rae Dunn ceramic bowl that I found in her beautiful studio a few weeks ago - it is always full of fruits and sits on an old wooden dining table. Such a joy to paint it full of clementines...
It's
the simple things in life that make our hearts swell - just a few days
ago watching my daughter singing her way up this beautiful dune outside
our cottage by the sea with a simple wish to bring shells home. That
moment was pure heaven for me. Her voice, the autumn sand under our
feet, the beautiful clouds and sea - and the soon to be discovered
treasures to bring home.

Until soon...
Saying a quiet peaceful goodbye to our time on the Cape - ...it was the best "hooky" my daughter and I could have chosen for ourselves this Fall.
A bientôt.
