Circle S Ranch canvas - painting process

I have been knee deep in a wonderful commission I am working on for a family in Mill Valley.  I am working from a photograph, but creating my own interpretation of the place. It is a place that clearly means a lot to the family and the view I look at to interpret daily - is outstanding.
