Apron no 2.
For the first decade of my studio life, I wore the same canvas apron every day. By the end, it was inches deep in paint. I had clients wanting to buy it, and it was one of the first things kids and adults were drawn to - to touch in the studio. I thought to myself, what could I do with this? Then it dawned on me. That Apron was going to be for my son. Apron no 2. as I call the one above, is almost half a decade old and is going to be given to my daughter. The texture and colour always makes me smile.
