Truro is a beautiful part of the Cape. I had the fortune of visiting friends there and they took me to their beach which had the stunning cliffs reminding me of Block Island. There were large sandy dunes (below) on which very old homes were perched. Hopper lived and painted here and you can really feel the influence of this stunning place on him. Sadly my camera didn't capture any of what I am trying to share but these two beach goers under their orange umbrellas with the blue sea behind them caught my eye.
