I found myself in my favorite new store in Mill Valley called Guideboat. It was opened by a great fellow, Stephen Gordon, who founded Restoration Hardware along with Chad Hurley, co-founder of YouTube and they have about the most amazing taste in just everything beautiful. The boats are all hand built and the clothing and accessories revolve around the boating world. It is set in the restored historic lumber mill of Mill Valley and a beautiful space was created to showcase their products. The oar I painted will be one of 20 or so oars for a charity auction on October 23rd and will be hanging in the flagship store. I am honored to be a part of it all.
