These two paintings were painted side by side ten years ago. They hung in our Barn in Healdsburg and now have been hiding in my studio until they were pulled out today. I forgot how much I love seeing them together and having them side by side as a diptych.

This place has to be my new favorite. 

Owned by a great couple who have clearly poured their hearts and souls into their artistic and thoughtful space, ---along with delicious recipes, coffees/ teas and art on the walls---have created a unique and welcoming place to come, over and over.... Flavio, one of the owners, must have spent a half hour with me teaching me about the complexities of the coffee bean, and brewing...one of the kindest souls--I could have stayed there all day. And I just had the chance to meet Lisa the other day when going back for my kale salad lunch who was equally a gem--they really have created such a remarkable spot which I plan on returning to every time I swing through the Berkshires...
