Back on the Cape....
I love being bicoastal.
My tiny cottage in Barnstable means the world to me and the landscape surrounding it including the Audubon Preserve, Sandy Neck Bay, and the sweet town itself - just fit in every way for me. I had the opportunity to pull my daughter from school and spend a few days connecting with dear friends, take walks on the beach, paint watercolors, go clamming, boating, swimming and even sit quietly on the beach with a sailing magazine.
Saying goodbye to the Cape yesterday morning to catch the 5am bus back to Logan was hard for me. Actually saying goodbye is always hard for me but knowing I will be back in 25 days (but who's counting) always puts a smile on my face.
