A commission on found driftwood from Block Island...

A few weeks ago I received a message from a client in Rhode Island asking me if he could send me a piece of found driftwood from Clay Head Beach on Block Island. He was hoping I could paint a Block Island seascape on it and what better to paint than my memories of walking those exact paths a million times over the years. It was an honor to paint (even though the driftwood was very bumpy!) - and always a joy as I love painting seascapes on driftwood ---and my love for Block Island is endless!!!
